Sister bunnies

My friend Kristy calls them her '2 little bunnies'. I'm told that they fight a lot...this picture makes me know they would be lost without each other.

raspberry beret

This is Ellie. She's just too gorgeous for words. She is my dear friend Kristy's littlest bunny and the best little model ever (her older sister was fantastic too- some to come of her soon). These were taken at this magic spot we found while in Byron Bay, it was just a little tucked away clearing really that Kris & I both loved as soon as we drove past it. The light was fabulous whichever way you looked at it (or so we thought anyway :p ) I hope to have some more from this afternoon soon. x

Vintage fair kick off

It all started off bright and early with the drive into Byron. We had live music in the back provided by the girls singing some tunes and after annoying the driver with the camera I turned to the side mirror for some action.

Everyone was in good spirits because we were on our way to here!

We stopped here for a hearty pancake breakfast, well not exactly here, we went upstairs to the balcony. We did drool over these delicasies in the window though!

The three musketeers- who I must say were so well behaved the entire weekend

Pretty table ornaments- it was about now that we saw there were no pancakes on the menu(what the???) so we left to find some elsewhere. I'm sure they were happy to see us go, we were quite boisterous!

And yes we are inside the fair! Pandoras box of vintage. So much to take in, we did not want to miss anything. We browsed through all kinds of things. And what do you know, I found my namesake in hair care! The man thought I was crazy to take a photo so I had to sheepishly explain 'same name'.

I bought this handheld mirror, I guess I thought it would come in handy for a prop one day?

This is some packaging a lady put my goods in, it reminds me of the love comics my mum used to get from the book exchange!

After we had exhausted ourselves there it was time to share some fish and chips near the beach, unfortunately some aggresive seagulls thought they we were sharing too and we spent our time trying to eat and fend them off. Later that afternoon we went scouting for a location to take some photos of the girls and we found a great little spot with an abundance of sunflare to shoot in. But you'll have to wait to see those because I haven't got to them yet! Some pretty pics to come soon of my gorgeous friend Kristy and the girls xox

I love her

Doing our fruit & veg market thing last Saturday morning. Just her and me. She's one cool little girl, she can have me in fits of laughter so easily. I am really enjoying this age. These photo's are technically incorrect (sshhhh) but I love them anyway - the insane light caught in her eyes and how the sun is playing on her head and the way her hand has bunched up her dress. I like these little things that some might overlook. I'm weird I know. Now I'm off to work on some from what I have dubbed 'our vintage fair weekend', there are so many that I don't know where to start.

Mt. Cootha playdate

I took the camera along to a catch up with these two beauties during the school holidays (yes, that long ago and I'm only blogging them now!) Louisa is Bel's bestie from school since they began Prep together a few years ago. They share a love of animals and Louisa gives bel a good run for her money in the imagination department and believe me that's no easy task! She's a fantastic little girl, ever since I met her all that time ago I always thought she has the cutest little pixie face! And then there's her little brother Andy who is just so darn cute aswell and such an interesting little soul. Such a mixture of typical car mad little boy, curious & cautious, soft & gentle but likes to exert his authority too. It took him a while to decide that it was okay for me to point the camera at him but really warmed to me after we had some 'toilet humour' under our belts! Then right at the end of our afternoon I took a shot of their mum, it's easy to see where they get their pretty eyes & lashes from!

Andy's prized posessions ( seriously, he LOVES his cars)

Pretty flower we came across that I couldn't resist snapping

Mum Tracey- who helps me to keep it real =)

the sweetest thing

Sweet Abbi  celebrated her first birthday a few weeks ago at a pretty park with all the special people in her life. She has the calmest temperement, taking in the hullabaloo of  festivities around her like it was nothing new. It was a fantastic day organised by my darling friend Toni (how could she not be a darling with that name? lol). Great party games the kids loved, an abundance of  gorgeous cupcakes and beautiful sunshine, it really was an awesome afternoon. And here is the adorable Miss Abbi in all her first birthday glory!

Yes that is a balloon, not hubba bubba!

Big bro Harrison hanging out in trees.

Cake time, almost too cute to cut!

Hip hip hooray!

Harrison the balloon master

Comfort things- daddy's arms, the thumb suck and the beloved blankie.

Hot mama and her lovelies.

It's been a while but I'm back

Sorry for the slow blogging lately, life has been busy over the school holidays! The first week was all cruisey and stay-in-your-pj's until midday but this second week we've had something on almost every day. Two weeks  isn't long enough, it just goes too quickly. So much to blog about too, I captured some images of a  birthday girl on her first birthday and of Isabella's sweet friend  from school and her little brother. I'll have get to that next week because...I'm off on a little weekend roadtrip tomorrow with my friend Kristy to Byron Bay. I'm so excited, not only is it my favourite place in the whole wide world but we are  going to a vintage fair while we're there! Who knows what we'll  come back with?  I'll leave you with a few pics of Bel I  got a couple of days ago wearing  her pretty Tea Princess flower hairclip. Have a great weekend, I know I'm going to!
